In Baldur’s Gate 3, these are the best amulets to wear.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, you can build your character without going through the race and class menus. Instead, you can use magic things like amulets that you can find or buy in the game. There are some that look like famous amulets from Dungeons & Dragons, and others that have powers that are only available in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Even though not all amulets are created equal, or even useful at all, they all give you a chance to rethink how your party works together and give Withers an extra 100 gold so you can change your class for the fifth time this game. Because they are so important to your character, some amulets you’ll never want to take off.
Psychic Spark
You can buy Psychic Spark from Blurg in the Underdark. Its only benefit is to let you cast Magic Missile for free while increasing its damage as if it were cast with a higher spell slot. This makes a strong level one power into the one that will be used the most.
Giving this to your wizard or sorcerer will give them an extra boost and let them use even a sixth-level spell slot to shoot more missiles than is usually possible for that spell. It can be useful for martial classes that don’t have many good ranged options.
Amulet Of Greater Health
The Amulet of Greater Health does what it says it will do: it gives its owner a higher Constitution score than the base 20 that all races have. A character at level 12 who wears this amulet has 72 more hit points than the same character who only has 10 Constitution.
This amulet gives an edge on Constitution saving throws, which helps with a lot of spell effects and poison. It’s not important to note that this also makes it easier to stay focused. If you give this to your strongest character, you’ll never have to worry about that character going down.
Spellcrux Amulet
Any level of spell spot can be restored by the Spellcrux amulet, and it only takes a bonus action to do so. This amulet is great for all spellcasters, but it’s especially good for Warlocks because the only other amulet that does something similar only refills slots up to level three, which Warlocks can’t use since they don’t have any slots at that level.
To get the most out of this amulet, save it for long rests and use it to cast elemental or creature calls. Then, use the spell restoration to get the slot back right away and cast any spell for free. This makes it possible to cast even more level six spells in one rest than you should be able to.
Amulet Of The Devout
This amulet really lives up to its name; it’s the best tool for Clerics. It gives you an extra use of Channel Divinity and a big +2 to your spell save DC, which is useful for all spellcasters, not just Clerics.
To anyone who has played a Cleric, a third use of channel divinity is all it takes to beat most opponents of the right type. The only bad thing about this charm is that it is locked under the Stormshore Tabernacle in Baldur’s Gate. If you don’t send it straight to camp, you will be cursed for taking it.
Amulet Of Misty Step
Misty Step is free to cast once every short rest when you wear the Amulet of Misty Step. If you have an amulet that lets you cast low-level magic, Misty Step is the best one because it can be used by any class.
Misty Step can be used outside of battle to get to places you wouldn’t normally be able to, like through bars or huge gaps. In battle, it’s best to give it to martial arts classes that don’t have the ability to cast so that they can see the whole battlefield, or to casters who already have it so that they can switch it out for another spell in their list.
Periapt Of Wound Closure
The Periapt of Wound Closure is a famous magic item from Dungeons & Dragons. It works the same way in Baldur’s Gate 3: it instantly stabilizes the person who is down while restoring the most hit points possible from any source.
If you don’t care about the stabilizing effect, which is pretty much useless, the healing effect can be used to regularly get too much healing from potions and spells that wouldn’t happen normally, like fully healing at max level with just a Potion of Superior Healing.
Necklace Of Elemental Augmentation
Cantrips that deal lightning, cold, fire, acid, or thunder are made stronger by the Necklace of Elemental Augmentation. If you wear this amulet by itself, your Firebolt and Ray of Frost become more dangerous, especially when you hit level five, as they deal more damage.
When you combine this amulet with the Elemental Adept feat, your cantrips become three times stronger. This means that you can use high-damage powers without limits from just one magic item and one feat. You can get a fourth buff to your elemental cantrips if you have a Draconic Bloodline Sorcerer, and the game has two Necklaces of Elemental Augmentation.
Amulet Of Branding
One thing that makes the Amulet of Branding special is that it lets you use a spell that isn’t in D&D. This spell makes a creature weak for two turns. Piercing slashes and bludgeoning do double damage, but the weakness lets any attacker do double damage, not just the caster. These attacks are almost always made with weapons.
The fact that this spell is only a bonus action and the subject can’t save against it makes it very powerful. With skills like Luck of the Far Realms that automatically deal critical hits, you can set up damage that ends Drive Mad with just one sneak attack from your rogue.
